Born and raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, I still consider myself a "Jersey Girl", even though I have not lived in the state for 26 years! I moved to Woodstock, IL in 1997 with my husband Keith and our three children and we are thrilled to call Woodstock home. I love to read and one of my favorite pastimes has been visiting bookstores. I feel truly blessed to have brought Read Between The Lynes to the Woodstock Square to share my love of literature with the community.

I have over fifteen years of corporate retail experience, with most of that time spent in management. I am very excited to be the store manager of Read Between The Lynes. Independent bookstores are my happy place. I am a big fan of reading romances and happy books, though I do like an interesting thriller and almost any fiction book that takes place in the 1920s. Besides reading, I enjoy taking day trips with my husband, crafting, and playing with my toddler.

I am the resident baker at Read Between The Lynes. With a pinch of fantasy and a dash of puns, I'm a happy reader. I hold a Master's in Library Science and I love finding new and diverse books to add to our children's literature section.

As a lifelong bookworm, English major, and former teacher, I love literature. Working at Read Between The Lynes allows me to share that love while kindly and enthusiastically helping our customers. My specialties are classics and mysteries - I started reading Agatha Christie when I was 5! When I’m not working, I’m probably reading a cozy mystery with my daughter or watching a period drama with my husband.

I’m a long-time book hoarder, writer, and lurker at Read Between The Lynes. I can rarely be found without a book (or two) and at least ten pens (or my dog) within reach. I’ve gone from being a customer as a kid, to leading NaNoWriMo write-ins in the back as a teen, and now here I am! If you need any help with science fiction, fantasy, or bird guides, I am the person to ask!

I am a retired school music teacher and I like to keep active. After working as a substitute teacher for several years, I decided it was time for a change. When I saw that Read Between The Lynes was hiring, I was excited to apply. Now I work in the café and love to make lattes, brew coffee, keep the candy case filled, and talk to customers. It’s fun to be a part of the RBTL community! Nonfiction is my favorite genre. I love to learn!

Farm-grown in Harvard, IL. I grew up with a love for books thanks to trips to the library with my grandmother. I'm the resident YA and romance enthusiast at Read Between The Lynes. When I'm not selling books or making lattes, I am studying creative writing at Hope College in Holland, MI.

I have been a customer of Read Between The Lynes since I was a baby, and working in the café has only grown my love for the small-town bookstore. I am a university student studying linguistics, and during my holidays I can be frequently found in the café experimenting with new drinks or singing along to the music playing!

After retiring to Woodstock because of its small-town appeal (and its independent bookstore), I became a frequent customer of Read Between The Lynes and then joined the staff seven years ago! Non-fiction is my favorite genre.

I’m a city girl who unexpectedly fell in love with Woodstock’s small-town charms and as a result, became a resident. As a lifelong bibliophile, indie bookstore fan and frequenter, I’m thrilled to have found a home with Read Between The Lynes. I can often be found snuggled on my couch with my best canine pal, a mug of peppermint tea, and of course, a book.
